Hellfire Machina

Prior to the birth of this project in late 2008. Jody Shires and Tom Williams who collectively have over 60 releases under their belts, along with production work for grammy nominated artists, numerous UK top ten remixes, 5 Breakspoll Awards, Best International Dj in the Spanish EDM awards 3 years running and a history in bass culture that is second to none. The year is now 2010, sonic exploration in the realm of bass fueled riddims is the primary mission for Hellfire Machina.

Beatards

The Beatards originally hail from New York City, but currently residing in Los Angeles, CA. The three eclectic innovators: DJO, Chuck Wild, and UTK the INC, started the successful MIXTAPE RIOT! party in 2005. Santigold, Spank Rock, Trouble Andrew, Kudu and over 60 other artists performed and shared the stage with them. Consisting of 2 emcees and 1 DJ, The Beatards embody the new, eclectic hip-hop model shared by artists like LMFAO, Travie McCoy, Kid Cudi and B.o.B. Entirely self-produced, the group blends a popular variety of hip-hop, electronic, punk, and international sounds that mirror the bands’ diverse individual backgrounds and collective global experience.

Gobi

GOBI is an electro-dance three piece that combines club shaking beats with the explosive energy of a live band. Adrenaline fueled percussion, guitar, and keys makes GOBI a band that thrives on their live performance. GOBI is an experience, an entangled wonder of lyrical verses, up tempo grooves, and ballistic drumming, that commands the crowd and leaves the dance floor singed. GOBI is Texas born and Texas bred, formed in Austin in 2008, GOBI immediately made an impact on the live music scene quickly becoming known for turning any room into a dance party.

Liondub

Liondub comes correct. An authentic product of Brooklyn, his musical mindset was formed at the crossroads of major international bass vibrations originating from Jamaica, NYC and the UK. Inspired by the global rhythm culture emanating from the streets beneath his feet, Liondub has spent a lifetime pounding that very pavement in pursuit of his passion for bottom-heavy beats.

Miz Metro

Laura O’Reilly is Miz Metro, a city kid who was raised by the melting pot of Manhattan and grew up in the entertainment business. She is the 22 year old singer/songwriter and actress who has graced over 50 stages from New York to London, engaging her audiences with her stage presence and indefinable music. “But it isn’t her sense of style that pulls in the audience. Her powerful, controlled voice blends with and rises above the music to bring her message of social change,” explains ClubPlanet.com. It is her “fresh dynamic”, as Chuck Taylor from Billboard Magazine puts it, that is making Miz Metro a creative force to be reckoned with in the music industry.

DJ Theory

Born and raised in the hills of MA, DJ Theory has been making music since he was in his huggies. Now based in San Francisco and all grown up, he can be found deep in the lab by day cooking up fresh and original production, remixes, edits and DJ mixes, and in the club by night serving up healthy portions of heat behind the decks. He touched a slew of venues in The Bay and beyond his first year in town, and also secured a position as the official scratch DJ for the SF 49ers performing live at every home game. In an era where anyone can bluff as a DJ, select few are still keeping things original, forward-thinking, and true to the essence… To put it short, Theory is NOT playing around with his experience will continue to provide music for the people, and turn any room upside down with no apology.

Kid Lucky

A hip hop vocalist who has created a style called beat rhyming which combines beat boxing and word rhyming at the same time. No track playing in the background, no DJ scratching with him and no loop pedals. With influences from beatboxers like Doug E Fresh, Rahzel, Masai Electro, solo singers like Bobby McFerrin , all vocalists who are masters in the art of solo vocal performances, Kid Lucky is pushing the boundaries of rhyming and beat boxing . For over 10 years Kid Lucky has wowed audiences with his freestyle ability in beat boxing and spoken word. Now by combining them both Kid Lucky has created a whole new vocal technique which lands in the genre of spoken word and Neo Soul.
